Join us on Thursday, August 27th from 6:30pm-8pm at the City of Tonawanda Public Library and build a model rocket with us!
We have a limited amount of rockets to provide you, so SPACE IS LIMITED!!

For the last 5 years the Assemblyman has been given the title of "Rocketman" ! Every year he supports this type of play buy providing the engines and rockets needed for the event. He also joins us at the event to help shoot them off!
But why rockets?
Generational Play. Most children today have never shot off a model rocket. This allows us to bridge that "play gap" between grandparents, great grandparents, parents and children. Years ago, model rockets were part of childhood - this is our way to bring it back!
Wont they make craters or fires?
Model rockets have changed over the years. What use to be a fire lit fuse is now a battery operated charge. None of our rockets are large enough to create craters.
